DeveloperElement Power will use 15 of the company’s N117/2400 machines at the Monainchaproject in County Tipperary.
Thedeal includes a 10-year service contract. Construction work at Monaincha is dueto begin later this month.
Theorder is the first for the N117 model in Ireland, where Nordex says projectsunder development will bring its total installed base to 427MW.
Elementthis week wrapped up the sale of Monaincha and another Irish wind farm toinvestment group BlackRock.
Thedeveloper will continue to build and operate the wind farms on behalf of theirnew owner.
