Earlier this month it was revealed that Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) – a public body responsible for advising the government on where to establish national parks, nature reserves and other specially designated areas – is drawing up a map that would effectively rule out nearly one-third of Scotland’s land mass for wind developers except in special circumstances.
The map, however, has not been made publicly available, raising the ire of anti-wind Conservatives in Scotland.
