Areva said revenue grew as work progressed on the GlobalTech 1 offshore wind project, and thanks to concentrating solar power (CSP)projects in Australia and India.
The renewables business group saw its backlog fall to €734m bythe end of March from €1.7bn at the same stage last year.
Areva said this was because of project completion and thecancellation of some bioenergy orders in Brazil.
