The Spanish energy and infrastructure group saw revenue from power generation soar by 22% to €613m ($795m) in the first three months of the year, compared to the same period in 2012, helped by extra capacity and favourable wind and hydro conditions in Spain.
But the Acciona Energy unit saw the regulatory changes in its home market hurt its profit margin, which fell 12%.
