Trump has fought a relentless campaign against the European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre (EOWDC) over its effect on the views from his planned luxury golf resort on the shore.
The Scottish Government in March gave the planning go-ahead for the 11-turbine development, which is being led by Swedish utility Vattenfall.
Now Trump has carried out his threat to contest that decision, lodging a challenge at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
