Thüga said it has bought58.4MW, while ESWE acquired 29.2MW. The wind farms are comprised of 39 turbines, of which 22 are from German manufacturer Enercon, and 17 from Danishproducer Vestas.

“With this transaction,we’ve been able to double our wind park portfolio compared to 2012 to 204MW,”Thüga board member Michael Riechel said.

Thüga by 2020 plans toinvest €1bn ($1.3bn) in renewable energy, and currently is examining thepossibility of extending its activities to neighbouring European countries.
