Saturdayafternoon’s blaze was the fourth at Siemens’ wind operations inJutland this year.
The firestarted when four mandrels caught fire in the plant’s external area, a policespokesperson told Recharge.
A windturbine blade placed close to the mandrels also caught alight.
The firewas under control in about 20 minutes and despite a lot of black smoke, it didnot constitute any danger to buildings or people, according to local reports.
