Late last year, the Danish company put on hold its Borkum Riffgrund 2 wind farm of about 300MW off Germany’s North Sea coast after transmission system operator TenneT was unable to guarantee when it would provide the grid connection.

This year, TenneT finally gave a commitment for the connection, says Manfred Dittmer, head of regulatory affairs at Dong Energy.
