The installation specialist said the Seajacks Scylla will be kittedout to meet the mounting demands of UK Round 3, Scottish and other northern Europeanoffshore wind projects when it is delivered in the second half of 2015.

The Scylla will boast a 1,500-tonne encircling crane, 5,000square metres of usable deck space and more than 8,000 tonnes of availableload.

Its 105-metre legs will be able to install wind components inwater depths of up to 65 metres, travelling at more than 12 knots.
