The German group’s alternativeinvestment arm, Allianz Capital Partners, acquired two wind farms totaling 23.5MWin southern France from EDF Energies Nouvelles.
Allianzalso snapped up the 76.5MW Dahme wind project near Berlin, previously owned bySpanish renewables developer Eolia Renovables.
Allianzsaid the deals raised its total wind and solar investments above $2.1bn.
