Vestas will supply 31 of its V112-3.0 MW wind turbines to the project, which is being developed by Cennergi – a joint venture between South African mining group Exxaro and Indian conglomerate Tata.
The contract with the Danish group includes full-scope civil and electrical works and a 15-year service agreement at the wind farm, located in Port Elizabeth at the Eastern Cape.
