The Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) made the 10-year loan to Sapphire Wind Power for the project in the Ghoro-Keti Bandar wind corridor near Jhimpir, Sindh.

OPIC – the US government’s development finance agency – first approved the loan in March. It will use 33 GE machines.
