Installation of seven N100/2500 turbines at the wind farm in the Apulia region at the Adriatic coast is set to start in the spring of 2014.
“The contract is an encouraging sign for our subsidiary in Rome, showing that also under the new auction system in Italy Nordex is successful,” says Nordex board member Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.
Investment in the project comes from a special-purpose vehicle Eolsiponto Srl, which is owned by Banco Santander unit Capital Riesgo Global SA and Alerion.
