Croatia’spresident Ivo Josipovic inaugurated Jelinak, which is the first of a number ofwind farms that Acciona is planning to develop in Croatia and uses 20 ofits 1.5MW machines.
The company has applied for permission todevelop two further wind farms in the country, with a total capacity of 78MW.
With windpower projects developed in recent months, Croatia has reached a totalinstalled capacity of around 225MW.
