Trianel targets 150MW onshore
Trianel, a consortium of German and Austrian municipal utilities, plans to build a 150MW onshore wind portfolio by 2016.
It has founded a subsidiary called Trianel Onshore Windkraftwerke, which is completing the 27MW Eisleben wind farm in Germany’s Sachsen-Anhalt state.
The wind farm, slated to cost €50m ($67m), will use 11 Enercon machines that are scheduled to be online by around year-end.
Trianel is also developing the 400MW Trianel Windpark Borkum off Germany’s North Sea coast.
