EBRD backs 103MW of Polish wind
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) will back the construction of 103MW-worth of Polish wind farms with a long-term loan of up to €69.5m ($94.3m).
The EBRD will provide the finance to project companies owned by Polish Energy Partners (PEP) for a trio of projects in northern Poland.
They are Gawłowice (41 MW), Rajgród (25MW) and Skurpie (37 MW).
Warsaw-listed PEP expects to complete two phases of the three-stage development by September 2016.
The total investment needed for the wind farms is estimated at about €199m.
