Last weekend, Windkraft Simonsfeld, put eight new REpower 3.2M114 machines into operation with a combined capacity of 25.6MW.
The total height of the turbines from the ground to the top of the rotor blade is about 200 metres, a first in Austria.
In most of Austria, like in southern Germany, moderate winds prevail, making higher wind towers necessary to achieve higher wind yields.
