EGP has been named as preferred bidder for four solar projects – the Aurora, Tom Burke, Paleisheweul and Pulida plants – which are located around South Africa “in areas boasting the highest concentration of solar radiation in the country”.
The two wind projects are at Gibson Bay and Cookhouse in the Eastern Cape, said a statement from the company.
EGP said the six projects would require a total investment of some €630m ($863m).
