Mortensen will hold both posts as of January while apermanent replacement is found for Richterich, who had held the Central Europe top job for a year.
Richterich, a former Nordex CEO, was appointed president forthe Central Europe operation on an interimbasis in January 2013.
No further details of the senior management change have beengiven by Vestas, which revealed it in a brief statement via its Twitter feed.
