BNDES subsidary company, BNDESPAR, is negotiating the possibility of entering the company's equity through a private subscription of shares. Renova is traded on the BMF&BOVESPA stock exchange.
If approved, the investment will be in units and the total amount of the capital increase will be of up to R$315m ($154m). The price per unit will be R$28.
Once negotiations for the investment are concluded and corporate approvals obtained by the company and the bank, which is financing the group's wind farm projects, Renova's board of directors will decide on the exact value of the capital increase.
