Mytrah has revealed slower-than-expected progress at three projects, meaning the Indian wind developer will end the year with nearly 100MW less capacity than previously forecast.

In late September, as part of its half-yearly results, the London-listed developer said that construction at its projects was “on track” and would lift its total installed capacity to 548.1MW from 309.9MW by the end of 2013.

Today, however, Mytrah said that it has 459.9MW of capacity in the ground, with commissioning of its Burgula, Savalsang 1 and Vagrarai projects to take place on a “rolling basis” throughout first-quarter 2014.

That timeframe will allow the company “to capture the benefits of the 2014 wind season” on its anticipated 548.1MW portfolio.
