Indian developer Mytrah Energy says its 310MW installed wind base and the 238MW it has under development all qualifies for a newly-reintroduced government incentive.
Mytrah told investors the capacity qualifies for the Generation Based Incentive
(GBI), either under the new scheme in force from this month or the previous
version, which has been revived retrospectively.
The GBI was axed
in April 2012 but resurrected by the government this year, to the delight of India’s
wind power sector.
