Wind revenue rolls in at Mytrah

Ambitious Indian developer Mytrah has seen revenue begin to roll in from its portfolio of wind farms and says it is on course to meet its goal of having 600MW in place by the end of this year.

Mytrah pulled in revenue of $38.9m in the nine months ending December 2012. The company – which has just changed its financial year from a March to December end – achieved revenue of just $7m in the 12 months to 31 March 2012.

The London-listed company posted a net profit of $12m for the period to December, against a $2.8m loss in the prior period.

The company has 310MW of fully-operational capacity and in March announced $203m construction financing for about 238MW of new capacity.
