Blade
to
Sinomatech
in
May
and
in
October
announced
the
sale
of
an
80%
stake
in
a
generator
manufacturing
subsidiary
to
Chinese
railway
group
CNR.
This
allowed
the
firm
to
reduce
its
headcount
to
3,600,
without
laying
people
off,
Wang
Haibo,
Goldwind's
president,
told
an
industry
event.
“Basically
there
were
no
workers
who
lost
their
jobs,”
he
said.
China’s
biggest
turbine
manufacturer,
Goldwind
has
been
under
pressure
to
cut
costs
as
it
faces
slower
demand
in
the
domestic
market
and
constant
pressure
on
