INCJ announced the move in an online statement but did not reveal the terms of the deal, which brings Marubeni’s stake in the UK-based offshore wind installer to roughly 55%.
The two sides jointly acquired Seajacks from investment firm Riverstone Holdings in early 2012.
Marubeni has said that it will continue to invest in offshore wind projects throughout the world.
