Gamesa nails 100MW India order
Gamesa has confirmed a 100MW wind turbine order to supply plants being developed by Greenko in India.
The Spanish manufacturer said the deal falls under a 300MW framework agreement reached with Greenko in 2013.
It will deliver 50 of its G97-2.0 MW turbines to wind farms being developed in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan.
They will be commissioned in two phases in September 2014 and March 2015, Gamesa said.
The deal includes a five-year service and maintenance agreement.
Gamesa said 250MW of orders have now been drawn down under the 2013 framework deal.
