CS Wind plans 2014 Seoul IPO

South Korea’s CS Wind plans to list its shares on the Seoul stock exchange in the second half of next year, the component manufacturer said in a statement.

Cheonan-based CS Wind primarily produces towers and platforms for wind turbine makers GE and Siemens.

It is supplying towers for the South Kent Wind Farm, a 270MW project featuring 124 Siemens turbines that Samsung Renewable Energy and Pattern Energy are now building in Ontario, Canada.

CS Wind sales and marketing manager Inkyu Han told Recharge that Samsung Securities and Mirae Asset Financial Group will serve as underwriters for the initial public offering (IPO).
