The Danish manufacturer will deliver 25 of its V90-2.0 MW turbines fordeployment at the Yanchi wind farm in China’s Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region(NHAR).
Hanas New Energy is the leading gas supplier to NHAR, according to Vestas.
The company has now ordered 250MW-worth of 2MW turbines from Vestas since2010 – 150MW of which is already in operation.
The manufacturer said the repeat custom bodes well for its future relationshipwith Hanas New Energy, which has a 1GW development pipeline.
