DTE contracts EDF for O&M

EDF Renewable Services has signed a multiyear operations and maintenance agreement with DTE Energy for the 75MW Brookfield Wind Park located in Michigan.

Financial terms of the deal were not made public.

EDF will provide selected O&M for the turbines and balance of plant, project oversight, and 24/7 remote monitoring from its Operations Control Center.

Brookfield consists of 44 General Electric 1.7 MW turbines. DTE has now contracted 400MW of generation from four wind farms with EDF.

“We are confident our extensive experience, which includes over 2,000 GE turbines under contract, and resources will ensure the long-term success of this project,” says Dalen Copeland, director of business development for EDF Renewable Services.
