RES gets Blyth met-mast O&M

RES Offshore has tied up an O&M contract for the met-mast at the proposed site of UK’s Blyth Offshore Wind Demonstration (Bowds) project.

RES Offshore signed the deal with the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, which runs the Blyth project.

The company will deliver maintenance, data management and round-the-clock remote operations for the met-mast.

RES was previously involved in offshore testing and snagging during construction.

UK seabed landlord the Crown Estate recently invited expressions of interest from developers to get a project up and running by early 2017.
