Scotland OKs Eneco's 66MW Moy

The Scottish government has given the planning green light to the 20-turbine Moy wind farm being developed by Dutch energy group Eneco.

The £65m ($107.3m) Moy will have a capacity of up to 66MW at its site near Inverness.

Scottish finance minister John Swinney said the project will support about 60 jobs during its construction.

Eneco expects to commission Moy in early 2016, according to the company’s website.

The Edinburgh government announced the Moy consent in conjunction with permission for a combined heat and power biomass plant in Fife.
