There is a rule at SSE that deserves repeating. Staff using the car park must reverse into their spaces.

This is to avoid the need to reverse out of them, which is considered an affront to the company’s evangelical health and safety policy.

This is not some wacky by-regulation that gathers dust on the company rulebook, either. Staff must not look the other way when they witness such behaviour, but must tackle it head on. Anyone challenged over this or any similar rule knows that they must not be defensive, but must express gratitude and make sure they do better the next time.
