The
delivery
was
put
back
because
of
delays
to
grid
connections,
Areva
claimed
in
a
statement,
but
the
40
M5000
turbines
will
now
be
stored
at
the
port
until
their
planned
installation
in
the
spring
for
developer
Trianel.
“The
safe
and
successful
transport
of
the
120
big
components
of
the
M5000
wind
energy
converter
was
possible
thanks
to
the
good
cooperation
with
Trianel,”
says
Areva
Wind
chief
executive
Jean
Huby.
Trianel
–
a
consortium
of
municipal
utilities
–
is
building
the
wind
farm
around
45
km
north
of
the
island
of
Borkum.
