Vestas
will
supply
14
of
its
V112-3.0
MW
turbines
to
the
Minas
wind
project,
which
is
being
developed
by
French
renewables
specialist
Akuo
Energy.
The
deployment
will
be
the
turbine’s
first
outing
in
Uruguay,
with
delivery
expected
during
the
third
quarter
of
this
year.
The
plant
is
due
to
begin
operations
in
2014
and
the
turbines
will
be
covered
by
a
10-year
service
agreement.
