The
contractor
has
been
hired
to
prepare
the
Port
of
Mostyn
for
the
arrival
of
the
towers,
hubs
and
blades
that
will
make
up
the
160
Siemens
turbines
destined
for
Gwynt
y
Mor,
with
deliveries
to
begin
early
this
year.
The
work
includes
the
preparation
and
compaction
of
lay-down
areas
and
haul
roads,
the
installation
of
essential
site
infrastructure,
and
the
construction
of
a
temporary
office
block.
Alun
Griffiths,
a
500-person
company
based
in
the
town
of
Abergavenny,
says
the
contract
will
lead
to
20
new
jobs.
