Enel Green Power grid-connects three Romanian wind farms

The Enel plants will join these turbines in Romania's wind fleet

Enel Green Power (EGP) says it has grid-connected three new wind farms in Romania.

The Italian renewables giant says the trio of plants in the Dobrogea region will add a total of 207MW to the nation’s wind capacity once fully operational.

The three are the Elcomex EOL (120MW), Targusor (60MW) and Gebelesis (27MW) projects.

Building the wind farms cost about €340m ($448m), says EGP, which has added 500MW of wind capacity in Romania over the last two years.
