Dong's ex-boss Eldrup to chair Danish offshore centre

Anders Eldrup, the former chief executive at Danish group Dong, has been appointed chairman at Offshore Center Danmark, the national centre for offshore energy development.

The appointment, effective from 1 January, marks the return of Eldrup to a high-profile industry role following his resignation from the top job at Dong in March.

That came amid controversy over his management of the world’s biggest operator of offshore wind power – a status he was seen as instrumental in helping Dong to achieve.
