Danish
manufacturer
will
supply
41
of
its
V100-1.8
MW
machines
to
the
wind
farm.
Delivery
is
planned
for
the
fourth
quarter
of
next
year
with
commissioning
by
February
2014.
The
deal
includes
a
15-year
service
agreement.
Vestas
is
not
revealing
any
more
details
at
the
request
of
its
customer.
It
has
previously
announced
preferred
supplier
status
for
the
73MW
Noblesfontein
project,
which
is
being
developed
by
Spain’s
Gestamp.
Vestas
won
its
first
firm
order
in
South
Africa
in
November
with
a
67MW
deal
to
supply
the
Hopefield
wind
farm.
