Nordex says the sale of the fully-built Filieres project in Lorraine is its first to the Munich municipal utility.

The German city has embarked on an ambitious project to cover all its power needs with municipal-owned renewable generation by 2025.

The wind farm uses four of Nordex’s N90/2500 machines.
