The
Germany-based
Suzlon
subsidiary
will
deliver
eight
of
its
3.2M114
machines
to
Windkraft
Simonsfeld.
The
turbines
will
be
deployed
at
the
Poysdorf-Wilfersdorf
III
wind
farm
in
northeast
Austria,
with
deliveries
due
to
begin
in
the
second
quarter
of
2013.
With
a
hub
height
of
143
metres,
the
turbines
will
be
the
tallest
ever
deployed
in
Austria,
says
the
manufacturer.
They
were
chosen
to
suit
areas
of
low
wind-speeds
and
forested
terrain.
The
deal
also
includes
a
20-year
service
agreement,
adds
REpower,
which
has
previously
supplied
another
Windkraft
Simonsfeld
project.
