The
Tongyuan
Wind
Farm
on
the
west
coast
of
Taiwan,
120km
from
the
capital
Taipei,
will
use
23
turbines
supplied
by
German
manufacturer
Enercon.
The
plant
is
being
co-developed
by
Bremen-based
companies
infraVest
and
wpd,
which
have
already
worked
together
on
five
wind
projects
in
Taiwan
with
the
help
of
KfW
IPEX-Bank.
Enercon
also
has
a
long-term
service
and
maintenance
deal
at
Tongyuan,
which
is
due
to
enter
service
in
2015.
