REpower to deliver 45MW to WSB wind project in Poland

WSB has already used the MM92 at its Opole project

REpower Systems has bagged a 45MW turbine supply deal to equip a wind farm in Poland.

REpower will deliver 22 of its MM92 machines to the Taczalin project in the province of Lower Silesia.

The wind farm is being developed by German group WSB Neue Energien, which aims to complete the project in August 2013.

The deal is the biggest yet signed in Poland by Germany-based REpower, a subsidiary of Indian wind equipment group Suzlon.

The turbine-maker has set up two service bases in the country to support its operations there.

Dresden-based WSB has already used the MM92 at its Opole project, which was commissioned last year.
