Some
470MW
of
new
offshore
wind
capacity
was
brought
on
line
last
year,
comprising
127
turbines
in
four
countries,
with
the
UK
and
China
representing
the
two
largest
markets,
according
to
BTM.
That
470MW
is
equivalent
to
1.13%
of
the
total
wind
capacity
added
globally
in
2011.
By
2016,
however,
the
global
offshore
market
will
expand
to
5.6GW
annually,
with
a
quarter
of
the
capacity
going
up
in
Asia.
And
by
2021
China
will
be
the
world’s
largest
market,
followed
by
the
UK
and
Germany
–

Europe
