25.5MW
project
at
Yelisurur
in
the
state
of
Karnataka,
developed
by
Bhoruka
Power
Corporation,
is
the
first
in
India
to
use
GE’s
1.5-77
model
turbines,
assembled
at
its
factory
in
Pune.
The
US
company
also
operates
and
maintains
the
Yelisurur
plant,
which
it
says
is
operating
ahead
of
performance
targets.
