EDF Renewable Services gets 222MW Michigan O&M deal

EDF Renewable Services has signed an operations and maintenance deal with Detroit Edison for 222MW of turbines at two wind projects in Michigan, US.

Under the ‘multi-year’ deal EDF Renewable Services will provide selected O&M services for the turbines and balance of plant, project oversight and 24-hour remote monitoring.

The wind farms concerned are Detroit Edison’s 110.4MW Thumb and 112MW Echo projects in Huron and Sanilac counties.

Both plants are equipped with GE 1.6MW wind turbines.

EDF Renewable Services, formerly known as enXco Service Corporation, provides O&M to more than 6GW of wind and solar in North America.
