from
fellow
turbine
manufacturer
Kenersys,
where
he
was
appointed
chief
executive
in
2010.
When
Soares
took
the
helm
of
Muenster,
Germany-based
Kenersys,
the
company
had
five
pilot
turbines
operating.
It
currently
has
more
than
200MW
in
operation,
says
Vestas.
Before
joining
Kenersys,
Soares
headed
Suzlon’s
China
operation.
He
has
also
worked
for
Siemens'
hydropower
business.
