Abeeólica
believes
the
country’s
economy
will
grow
at
a
pace
of
3.5%
to
4%
in
2013,
and
that
electricity
demand
should
outpace
this.
“This
gives
us
good
expectations
[for
wind]
in
2013,”
says

Melo,
president
of
Abeeólica,

debate

at
the
Brazilian
British
Centre
in
São
Paulo.
This
year
has
been
characterised
by
low
demand
because
of
stagnant
GDP
growth
and
other
“sector
issues”,
including
an
expected
oversupply
of
power
for
2015,
when
projects
contracted
in
2012
would
have
to
come
on
line.
Repeated
delays
to
government…
