turbines
will
be
mated
to
140-metre-high
towers
to
ensure
maximum
energy
capture
from
the
local
wind
resource,
boosting
yields
by
up
to
20%
compared
to
machines
set
atop
conventional
100-metre
towers,
says
Nordex.
Construction
work
at
the
site
began
in
September
and
the
BMW
factory
is
expected
to
be
benefitting
from
wind
power
by
spring
2013.
