first

farm
complex,

in
Bahia
state.

will
supply
a
total
of
230
turbines,
of
which
all
but
five
will
be
1.68XLE
models.
The
1.68MW
machines
will
use
80-metre
towers
and
82.5-metre
rotors.
The
remaining
five
turbines
will
be
1.6XLE
turbines
on
80-metre
towers
with
100-metre
rotors.
The
wind
farms,
which
are
all
being
built
in
Bahia,
had
originally
been
contracted
to
supply
375MW
of
power
through
Brazil's
