The
generators
will
be
used
in
Prokon’s
own
P3000
turbines,
which
will
be
installed
at
onshore
wind
farms
in
Germany
and
Poland.
The
deal
follows
a
prior
two-unit
order
Prokon
made
with
the
Finnish
power-electronics
and
control-systems
manufacturer,
with
those
turbines
set
for
testing
at
the
end
of
2012.
The
Switch
says
the
orders
will
bolster
Prokon’s
plans
to
“provide
full
turbine
development
and
manufacturing”.
